Pyrography Workshop

Pyrography is an intuitive and enjoyable skill to learn.

The Pyrography workshop is designed to develop your understanding and build your confidence gradually through a series of demonstration-led exercises: becoming familiar with the subject and applications of pyrography, safe operation of the machine, changing the tips, noting differences using different types of wood and how that influences your design and desired finish, how to apply the tool to create variety of textures - creation of a texture board - shades, shadows and tones using differently shaped pyro' wire tips, design transfer applications and free-hand line work to create your own finished piece. The Pyrography Workshop is all about giving you time to question, practise and experience learning a new skill. There's absolutely no pressure. You take home your texture board and design piece.  

The venue has tea and coffee making facilities on site, however, you are indeed welcome to bring a packed lunch.   

All tools and materials provided. No previous experience required. Suitable for ages 15 yrs +.

Modroc Sculpture Workshop

Modroc Sculpture is an easy and enjoyable medium to create what ever you want. 

This workshop focuses on learning the methods and techniques of paper and modroc sculpting using a supportive demonstration-led approach. Starting with small examples of how create shapes with paper and card before moving on to building and fixing components together to create an overall form, we then go on to using modroc to create and define completion of your sculpture.

No previous experience required and all tools and materials supplied. It is advisable to wear old clothes or bring an apron. 

The venue has tea and coffee making facilities, however, you are indeed welcome to bring your own packed lunch.
